  • Matthew Forrest's grave in the small cemetary at Town Beach in Broome.  In 1879, together with his brother Alexander, Matthew undertook a six month journey which resulted in the naming of the Kimberley district, and various rivers and landmarks.  Mt Matthew on Mt Hart Station was named in his honour.
